Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)
The Middle School programme of Miras International School is designed for students aged 11–16 (Grades 5–9) and integrates the requirements of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) with the educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The study of Kazakh, Russian, and English languages and literature at a mother-tongue level, with an emphasis on developing academic literacy, communication, and analytical thinking.

Multilingual learning
One of the key features of the school is a multilingual educational environment. English is not only a subject but also one of the languages of instruction and in-school communication. This enables students to confidently continue their studies in international programmes and prepare for admission to leading universities worldwide.
For international students, a Host Country Study course is provided, aimed at familiarising them with the history and culture of Kazakhstan, as well as learning the basics of the Kazakh language.

IB MYP personal project
A key milestone in Grade 9 is the IB MYP Personal Project.

Preparation for the next stage of education
The Middle School programme provides a strong academic foundation and consistent preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Grades 11–12.
Upon completion of the programme, students may take the international IB MYP assessment and receive an internationally recognized certificate.
