High School
The High School level is represented by two pathways — the Miras High School Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme — preparing students for admission to leading universities worldwide.
A two-year course based on the integration of Kazakhstani and international educational standards, aimed at providing students with specialised preparation for continuing their studies at higher education institutions around the world.
A two-year International Baccalaureate programme delivered in English for students aged 16–19, with admission after Grades 9 or 10.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year pre-university educational programme for students aged 16 to 19. Tuition is in English and is aimed at preparing students for admission to the best universities in the world.
Curriculum
IB Subject Groups
Miras School offers the following subjects from the 6 IB subject groups.
Language A
Each student chooses one subject from each area — at least three subjects are studied at higher level and three at standard level.
Theory of Knowledge
The programme includes the compulsory Theory of Knowledge course, allocated at least 100 hours over the two years of the Diploma Programme.

Programme Requirements
Completion of the programme is preceded by compulsory external assessment carried out by independent experts of the IB Organisation.
Successfully accomplish all examination papers assessed by the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
Write an extended essay in the form of an independent research paper demonstrating in-depth knowledge of a chosen topic.

Preparatory Courses
Variable subject disciplines in English for Grade 9 and 10 students are focused on preparation for studying by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12).
